On April 18 2016 the ships passing through the Panama Canal will only be allowed to have a draft of 11.89m/39′ (Should be 12.8m/42′). Meanwhile they are hoping to open the new Canal locks in July with new limits of 15.2m/50′. Doesn’t look good – we need some rain!
